Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the girls over at The Broke & The Bookish. This week’s topic is: Ten Books I Loved Less/More Than I Thought I Would.

I don’t have very many books that surprised me when it comes to how much I thought I would or wouldn’t love them. I definitely can’t think of ten, so I’m going to just pick the four that I’ve read recently, which are all of the NA genre. This genre isn’t really something that I typically read, but I’m definitely getting more and more into it! I love how easy they are to read, and how simple the plots are. But when I say simple, I don’t mean dumbed down or plots that aren’t really all that good, just that they aren’t incredibly complicated like the typical high fantasy novels I read are.

The Royals series was definitely a series that I was incredibly shocked to like as much as I did. I figured I’d like it enough, probably get through the first book, maybe the second, but that was so not the case. I got fully addicted to this series, and I seriously need more. Like yesterday.

The Royally Screwed book you see hiding in the book beau is another book that shocked me! I picked this book up in hope of getting myself out of a reading slump, and pretty much mission accomplished there. It wasn’t too serious, and was pretty fluffy honestly, but for some reason I loved that so much.

I hope everyone has a fantabulous day/evening/morning/whenever you’re reading this and happy reading!
