Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I Wish Had (More/Less) X In Them

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the girls over at The Broke & The Bookish. This week’s topic is: Top Ten Books I Wish Had (More/Less) X In Them. One of my new years resolutions was to try and do more Top Ten Tuesday posts, and my dumb ass didn’t do a single post for it this month. So, instead, I’m going to start trying to do them now in February. We’ll just see how that goes.

So this weeks topic is pretty open to me, and I don’t really know exactly what I want to talk about, so I’m going to just do five instead of the usual ten.

My first book choice is The Selection series by Kiera Cass, and this one I wish had more books. I know that a lot of people seem to not be huge fans of this series, and don’t like the newest books, but I am not one of those. I would love for there to be more books! I really want to see how Illéa does now that Eadlyn is in charge, and I definitely want to see her relationship more!

<img class="size-medium wp-image-1972 alignleft" src="×200.jpg?resize=300%2C200" alt="" srcset=" 300w, 768w, 1024w, 2000w, additional 3000w” sizes=”(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px” />

I’m not even going to try and be subtle about how much I want more books in the Off Campus series. I honestly didn’t think I was going to like this series as much as I did, but oh my lord, I’m addicted. And I totally got my best friend addicted, which I’m very proud of. The writing and characters combined were so amazing, and I can name like five other characters I wanted to see fall in love and witness all the drama that ensued. I’m kind of a sucker for drama in romances apparently, which I definitely didn’t know until I started this series.

Y’all, let me tell you, I think new adult is my newest obsession. I read Royally Screwed in a day, and then I immediately ran to my computer to find the publisher’s email so I could request an ARC of the next book because I didn’t want to wait for the book to come out. I’m pretty impatient, not gonna lie. I want more books in this series for sure. I fell in love with these characters so quickly, I can only imagine how quickly I love the next ones! Emma Chase is probably on my list of favorite new adult writers, and definitely is on my auto buy list. I’ve got the next book pre ordered, and I’m impatiently waiting for it to come out!

I don’t think it’s much of a secret that I want more books from The Royals series. This was officially the first new adult series I’d ever read, and I can honestly say its the reason why I’m so in love with the genre now! The twists and turns were insane, and the characters were some of my favorite that I’ve ever read. More… Please?

And now we’re to The Mortal Instruments/The Infernal Devices/The Dark Artifices series, which seems to be the only series I’m actually getting more of like I want. I’m not even going to pretend that I won’t be buying every single book that Cassandra Clare writes, because that would just be a damn lie. I know for a fact that I’ll be buying them all, mainly because I’ve got every one on pre order that I possibly could.

So that’s the five series that I simply want more of! What series do you wish would go on forever?

I hope everyone has a fantabulous day/evening/morning/whenever you’re reading this and happy reading!
