He knows how to score, on and off the ice

Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn’t have the first clue about what she's going to do after college. To make matters worse, she’s nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di-Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won’t include the king of one-night stands.

It’ll take more than flashy moves to win her over

Dean always gets what he wants. Girls, grades, girls, recognition, girls…he’s a ladies man, all right, and he’s yet to meet a woman who’s immune to his charms. Until Allie. For one night, the feisty blonde rocked his entire world—and now she wants to be friends? Nope. It’s not over until he says it’s over. Dean is in full-on pursuit, but when life-rocking changes strike, he starts to wonder if maybe it’s time to stop focusing on scoring…and shoot for love.

my review 2

During my NA book experiment that I started in early December, and I’m still forming my opinion on NA books in general, I’ve realized that I’m going to always be left wanting more. It’s like we meet the couple, fall in love with the couple as they fall in love, and then, it’s over.

It’s just done. Donezo. Over and out.

What?

I just can’t stop wanting to more and more what goes on in these couples lives. What can I say, I’m a super nosy reader. That’s actually one of the reasons I really like the Off Campus series, because we get to find out more and more about how the couples are doing through the other books when they make little cameos.

Now, back to the actual book. I seriously, seriously fell in love with these two. I’ll admit, the way they first hooked up made me laugh a little, but hey, maybe it actually is realistic. I’m not one for that kind of hook up, but if my girl Allie is, damn, live your life, girl. I really, really liked Allie as well. I loved that she went through a break up and it was actually realistic. She didn’t just have sex with someone else and then boom she was over it and ready for a new relationship. She was still growing and learning that she deserves so much better than her ex, aka, she deserves Dean.

Speaking of Dean, good lord. Now, in real life I don’t even kind of go for the player “type” of guy, but for some reason in books, I just think they’re so damn hot. I think it’s probably because I know there’s going to eventually be a character arc and they won’t forever be dicks who happen to be hot, but ya know, it is what it is. Dean’s character arc was definitely one of my favorite in the series so far, and I honestly wish we could get more of this couple’s book. Hell, I want more books of every couple if we’re being honest here.

This book is perfect if you want super sexy sexy times, hilarious banter, and the most adorable cute scenes you’ve ever read. Something about Elle Kennedy’s writing has me 1000% hooked, and I just can never put these books down once I’ve started them. They’re just that damn good, seriously.

I hope everyone has a fantabulous day/evening/morning/whenever you’re reading this and happy reading!
