Nicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook, Crowned Prince of Wessco, aka His Royal Hotness, is wickedly charming, devastatingly handsome, and unabashedly arrogant; hard not to be when people are constantly bowing down to you.

Then, one snowy night in Manhattan, the prince meets a dark haired beauty who doesn't bow down. Instead, she throws a pie in his face.
Nicholas wants to find out if she tastes as good as her pie, and this heir apparent is used to getting what he wants.

Dating a prince isn't what waitress Olivia Hammond ever imagined it would be.

There's a disapproving queen, a wildly inappropriate spare heir, relentless paparazzi, and brutal public scrutiny. While they've traded in horse drawn carriages for Rolls Royces, and haven't chopped anyone's head off lately, the royals are far from accepting of this commoner.
But to Olivia, Nicholas is worth it.

Nicholas grew up with the whole world watching, and now Marriage Watch is in full force. In the end, Nicholas has to decide who he is and, more importantly, who he wants to be: a King... or the man who gets to love Olivia forever.

my review 2

I’ve decided recently, as in ten minutes before starting up this review, that I’m going to start a new feature on here called the NA Experiment. I’ve always been very into reading YA, but more and more I’m finding that I want to read NA when I want to get a contemporary read in. And Royally Screwed has been my first choice for this experiment!

First off, lets be superficial for a hot minute. Of course, as I’m reading this, I had to find the perfect fancasts for all of the characters, as I do.

My Fancast:

Olivia Hammond

Prince Nicholas

Of course I had to choose Sam for this fancast, because, I mean, why would I not? He’s got just enough of the cocky attitude, but also the total sweet charm that he’s perfect for it. Plus, I kind of love him.

Now, for the actual review part of this thing.

I really freaking liked this book, you guys. I was buddy reading it with a bunch of my friends on Twitter, and as far as I’ve seen, I’m pretty sure I liked this book the most out of all of them.

I mean, this book was exactly what I was looking for when I picked it up. I wanted a book that had petty drama, aka stuff that doesn’t really matter all that much, a unrealistic, but totally adorable romance, and a plot line that is 100% a guilty pleasure. A “commoner” meeting a prince by chance, and it just so happens she has no clue who he is? Count. Me. In.

I think my favorite part was how they met for the first time. I can sum that up in a single gif, and it cracks me up every damn time.

I also just love the idea of someone being swept off their feet by a literal prince charming and whisked away to a foreign country and living in a palace for the summer.

This book was literally The Prince and Me turned dirty, and it was amazing. Although, I will say, the pacing was a bit off at times. But considering the plot and the characters, the pacing made sense to me, it just wouldn’t really make sense in real life at all. Then again, I’m not really reading this for it to be like real life, ya feel me?

So basically, if you’re looking for a cheesy, quick paced romance about a literal prince charming, then look no further. This is definitely a quick, fun read, and its even more fun if you picture Sam as Nicholas. You’re welcome in advance.

I hope everyone has a fantabulous day/evening/morning/whenever you’re reading this and happy reading!
