We’re getting closer to the end of the year, aka two more months to take down that Goodreads reading challenge goal we set up in January, and I know that everyone I follow on Twitter is either doing really well, or they’re losing their damn minds trying to get through books.
As for me, I’m actually going pretty darn well with my Goodreads challenge, surprisingly enough! Somehow, I’m magically six books ahead of schedule? Six?! SIX? Yeah, no, I don’t know how I made that happen either, honestly, I don’t.
However, even though I’m super ahead, for me at least, I want to finish this challenge by the end of November! My goal right now is to read those last six books by the time December starts so that everything I read that month is free game.
Plus, this whole mini read-a-thon thing, which is probably more set up like a self read-a-thon, is going to help tackle that massive TBR that’s gotten only bigger since this year started.
- Wayfarer by Alexandra Bracken
- Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
- Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas | okay, we’re gonna have to see about this one… For some reason, I’m really not as into this whole series as much as I once was.
- This Adventure Ends by Emma Mills
- Our Chemical Hearts by Krystal Sutherland
- What Light by Jay Asher
So, I have exactly six books for this list, but I’m sure that this number is either going to be bigger or smaller. I only have one major assignment due in November, so I might actually be able to read more!
Just a side note, more for myself to reread at the end of November when I’m writing my wrap up for this thing, I don’t think I’m going to actually finish Empire of Storms. I’m honestly anticipating DNFing that one, but I want to give it another chance before I do because I used to love that series so much.
I hope everyone has a fantabulous day/evening/morning/whenever you’re reading this and happy reading!
