I was looking through posts that I had drafted for the week, and I realized I haven’t done a How I Picture or a Bookish Playlist for The Raven Cycle. And considering the fact that this series is in my top three, I’m really surprised. So, I decided I would throw both of those things into one post versus making two separate ones, since I plan on posting my review for The Raven King tomorrow!
First, I have my playlist. I’m going to be honest, most of this playlist was inspired by my otp, Pynch, but I mean, it fits the books too. These were all of the songs I had on repeat on my Spotify while I was reading (and sobbing during) The Raven King. So, ya know, enjoy and stuff.
- Trees by Twenty One Pilots
- I Wanna Get Better by Bleachers
- Young Volcanoes by Fall Out Boy
- Run Boy run by Woodkid
- Flares by The Script
- Everlasting Arms by Vampire Weekend
- Drown by Bring Me The Horizon
- Troublemaker by Weezer
- Memories by Panic! At The Disco
- Get Home by Bastille
- Talk A Walk by Passion Pit
And now, how I picture the characters! I have to admit, when I was reading the first book I didn’t really have a clear set on how I pictured each of the characters, but after I stalked the tag on tumblr I’ve got the perfect idea, at least for me.

And that’s a wrap for The Raven Cycle. I feel so sad knowing that once I post my review for The Raven King tomorrow, I won’t be posting about it anymore. I mean, lets be real, I’ll probably still find a way to work it into as many posts as humanly possible, but I won’t have a new book to be waiting on on Wednesday, or a new cover reveal to post. It’s finally sinking in that the series is actually over.
I mean, like I’m totally fine. I’m handling this perfectly well.
I hope everyone has a fantabulous day/evening/morning/whenever you’re reading this and happy reading!
