Top Ten Tuesday version 2

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the girls over at The Brooke & The Bookish. This week’s topic is Top Ten Bookworm Delights. This is definitely going to be very easy for me to make this list, since books are literally my favorite thing in this world. And my second favorite? Anything to do with books. So without further ado, here’s a list (that I probably had to cut short to make it only 10) of my bookworm delights.

The Smell of Books

I know I can’t be the only one who just loves the smell of a freshly printed book. Or an old, read thousands of times, book. Or any book, made out of paper. Just books. And the smell of those books. I love them.

Solid Movie Adaptions

Aka Colin Firth’s adaption of Pride & Prejudice, sorry not sorry for bringing that up again.

Coffee While Reading

As you can tell by the title of my blog, or from my Bookstagram if you follow me there, I’m an addiction to coffee and I have no shame. And coffee while drinking? Ugh, my dream.

Book Blogging/Bookstagram

Speaking of Bookstagram, I’m literally addicted. I just recently decided to start using my Canon for my pictures, and I’m not a full on addict. I love doing my little book photoshoots on the weekend in between homework and just work in general. And I love fangirling with other bookworms!

Also, shameless self promo, click the following picture to check out my Bookstagram! Coffee and cats will be involved.

Deckled Edges On Books

I can’t even begin to describe how excited I get when a book I’ve been waiting to read has deckled edges to it. I’m looking at you The Wrath & the Dawn, and hopefully The Rose & the Dagger. It’s just so different and it makes it feel like I’m almost transported to what I’m reading, even though it’s just a different feel to the pages.

Participating In Readathons

I haven’t actually been a part of that many readathons, but I really want to start participating in more of them since school is almost out! I honestly want to host my own someday.. Maybe I’ll look into that more.

That feeling when you find a book that you literally can’t put down

I’m looking at Throne of Glass, the entire series actually, for this one. Once I hit chapter five of that first book, I couldn’t put that series down even if my life depended on it.

Rereading favorites before the next comes out

That’s actually what I’m doing this week! I’m trying to finish A Court of Thorns and Roses before May 3rd, when A Court of Mist and Fury comes out. I miss that world so damn much, I can’t wait until I can dive back in!

Bookstores with coffee shops in them

I mean, books and coffee. Buying more books than I should, while drinking more coffee than I should. Sounds like a good time to me.

Making playlists for books

I started to do this after I read Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick and I mainly use 8tracks.

I like to look up playlists for whatever book I’m currently reading so I can listen while I read it.
