I’ve never done one of these month long blogging things, and I decided this month, why not? It’s hosted over on Rachel’s blog,Beauty and the Bookshelf (such a cute name by the way, what the heck??) So, without further ado, lets get on with day six!
Book Spine Poetry
So I’m horrible at poetry, and to be quite honest, I don’t really like it. I don’t get it, I much prefer a story for me to read as opposed to a few lines that I have to ‘look for the deeper meaning’ in, and that’s why I’m so into fiction.
For this Monday’s post, I just took a picture of two books that are literally my favorite covers I’ve bought recently, simply because they’re gorgeous. And yes, I’m aware I didn’t take a picture of the spines, but that’s okay. We’ll work with it.
I was A Thousand Pieces of You,
And now I’m A Thousand Skies Above You.
So there you go. That’s me proving to you that poetry usually never makes sense and I’m pretty positive that you can just throw a couple lines together, say them in a British accent, and that would make them seem like legit poetry.
That was fun.
