Blogging Extravaganza

I’ve never done one of these month long blogging things, and I decided this month, why not? It’s hosted over on Rachel’s blog, Beauty and the Bookshelf (such a cute name by the way, what the heck??) So, without further ado, lets get on with day two!

Day Two: Bookish Things You’d Give a Kidney For

I can definitely think of a thousand different bookish things I would give a kidney for, but they’re pretty much all ARCs of books that I literally can’t wait for. Hell, even some of them are ARCs of books that are already out and I already own. And that brings me to my first:

An ARC copy of Lady Midnight (the fancy box edition)

I think it’s a mix of this book being so beautiful that I need every single version of it. I mean, the hardcover is by far my favorite simply because I have all her other books in hardcover, but also I think it would be awesome to have one of my favorite author’s ARC. Idk, maybe I’m a total nerd for that. Whatever.

A Prequel Harry Potter Book

I mean, honestly, do I really need to explain this? She could literally write anything about this world and I would buy it and read it. I’m desperate, you guys.

The Next Book In The Dark Artifices

I just finished this yesterday, and I seriously needed this book yesterday. I’m addicted. I’m like a drug addict, but my drug of choice is books. I’m so excited to see where everything goes in this series and I’m definitely putting a review up sometime this week!

Every Single Happyhelloco Bookmark

I’ve recently become very obsessed with their bookmarks and I literally can’t stop buying them. I really really want to get my hands on the Disney princess ones!

Ebooks To Come With Hardbacks

Guys, I have this thought out and everything. If you go to Barnes and Noble and you buy a hardback book, they could put a code on the receipt and it would give you an e copy of the book. That way, if you actually buy the hard copy, you get an ebook as well. I know I for sure read much faster when I’m reading on my iPad than when I have a book in my hands. I have no idea why, but I do. So if I could get a copy for staring at (pretty hardbacks) and a copy for reading quickly (eBook) then I would be a very happy reader.

I hope everyone has a fantabulous day/evening/morning/whenever you’re reading this and happy reading!

  • Great ideas! I would like all those bookmarks too ha. And a HP book about the Maurauders would be AMAZING!!! I would love to read about James Potter, Lily Evans, etc when they were in Hogwarts or the first war fighting Voldemort.

I would love to read those too! I literally would read anything she wrote about the wizarding world.

  • Yes! I love your ebooks/hardcover idea…I need that as well. I definitely read books faster when itʻs in ebook form because I can read anywhere, whenever I want, but I love having the hardcover on my shelf.

Exactly! If that’s not the definition of book nerd problems, I really don’t know what is hahah.

  • OMG! I just got my first set of ToG Magnetic Bookmarks today and I CANNOT STOP STARING. THEY ARE SO PRETTY! Wait! I heard that B&N was closing down their Nook section. Is that true?!

I know, I’m obsessed with them! And I have no idea, I hadn’t heard that yet! I usually only use Kindle or iBooks though, so maybe Nook just wasn’t doing well enough or something.
