SummaryAn anxiety disorder disrupts fourteen-year-old Audrey’s daily life. She has been making slow but steady progress with Dr. Sarah, but when Audrey meets Linus, her brother’s gaming teammate, she is energized. She connects with him.

Audrey can talk through her fears with Linus in a way she’s never been able to do with anyone before.

As their friendship deepens and her recovery gains momentum, a sweet romantic connection develops, one that helps not just Audrey but also her entire family.

My Review

Again, this book has proven to me that a good, short contemporary is the way to solve any reading slump or book hangover. It’s just a fact at this point and I’m one hundred percent okay with it. Basically, I’ve now got the power to over come any reading slump ever.

This was such a cute book. Somehow, despite the fact that it had a lot of darker, more serious topics, it still managed to be cute and funny and just all around a quick and easy read.

Audrey, and I’m actually super surprised by this, never got on my nerves. I think it was because I totally related to the anxiety she felt, although not to the extent she had it, and at times she honestly reminded me of myself when I was younger and in high school. Although, I didn’t have my own Linus and that really sucked.

This is basically a gif of how I felt the entire time I was reading this book:
