Book: The Good Girls (The Perfectionists #2)
Author: Sara Shepard
Published: June 2, 2015
Genres: Mystery, Young Adult, Contemporary
Summary: Mackenzie, Ava, Caitlin, Julie, and Parker have done some not-so-perfect things.
Even though they all talked about killing rich bully Nolan Hotchkiss, they didn’t actually go through with it. It’s just a coincidence that Nolan died in exactly the way they planned . . . right? Except Nolan wasn’t the only one they fantasized about killing.
When someone else they named dies, the girls wonder if they’re being framed.
Or are they about to become the killer’s next targets?
My Review: I really can’t decide how I feel about this one. On one hand, it was really good and I loved that she finally ended a series before, y’know, sixteen books again. On the other hand, the ending still felt really left open like she was leaving it open enough to write another book or even a spin off series. But hey, who knows, maybe that was her goal.
Again, it’s just a bunch of pretty, rich girls running around and getting themselves into more and more trouble with every step they take. Some of the things they did, I honestly couldn’t even believe it. Half the time I was just sitting there like:
And the other half I was like:
As always, and with every book this woman writes, the writing was amazing. Her characters and descriptions have always been so well done and this isn’t an exception to that!
Overall, this was a really good finale to the duo that is The Perfectionists. It wasn’t too dragged out, thank god, but it also wasn’t too short. It was just right!
I hope everyone has a fantabulous day/evening/morning/whenever you’re reading and happy reading!
