I’m obsessed with romance in books and I’m not afraid to admit it

I’ve just been reading another blog and I came across a post of theirs ranting and questioning why people love romance in books so much. I realized then that I, too, was curious as to why people love it so much.

Personally, I think there is just something so sweet, so… excuse me for being completely, utterly lame, but magical about it. It’s like I’m watching people fall in love when I’m reading their stories and I get to gush and cry and just get all kinds of feels while I watch them realize their own feels. It’s just really cute, okay?

Hi, I’m going to be just as lame down here, past that gif. Just a fair warning to y’all.

I’ve already had the chance to experience falling in love, and still am to this day, and it was, and still is, one of the best things I’ve ever experienced in my life. Well, other than a rainy day, good book, and coffee… Just don’t tell him that. But honestly, I just love watching other people experience it, too.

It’s so cute to watch them going from this:

I was gonna try and find a cuter, maybe sweet gif for that second part, but this one was too funny not to use. Plus, lets be real, this is a pretty accurate description. Well, maybe minus the flying babies and unicorn.

Do you guys like romance in books? Are you as obsessed as me? Probably not, but it’s worth asking.

I hope everyone has a fantabulous day/evening/morning/whenever you’re reading and happy reading!
