My Review: Before I even start reviewing this mini book thingy, can we talk about how gorgeous these covers are? Every single one of them are so pretty and perfect. The colors are always on point, looking amazing together, and everything is just perfection. I love them.

Moving on from my cover love.. This novella. If I wasn’t obsessed with this series before, I am now. Number one, the short story is from freaking Tarver’s point of view. ‘Nuff said.

straight jammin bruh

I absolutely love when I get to read from the guy’s point of view. Something about it is so amazing. I honestly don’t know what it is, but I like to read it after seeing it from the original point of view. It’s just a 10 out of 10 experience, okay? Okay.

First of all, the writing. Amie Kaufman and Megan Spooner have this undeniable talent for writing so well together. I think with every book, although I’ve yet to completely read the second one, it just gets better. I can’t describe it any other way. It’s just marvelous.

Second, we got to learn so much more about Tarver. I’m so glad we got to see into his past, get to know him a little better. It definitely gave the guy more character development. And if you’ve read any of my other reviews and know anything about me, you know how I love me some character development.

Lastly, it might be the best novella I’ve read in a really long time. To kind of describe why it’s the best I’ve read in so long, I’ll compare it to the The Lunar Chronicles novellas. The Lunar Chronicles novellas are good as well, I truly love them, but these are actually better to me. I just love everything about it. Literally everything.

I hope everyone has a fantabulous day/evening/morning/whenever you’re reading this and happy reading!
