Heir of FireBook: Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass #3)

Author: Sarah J. Maas

Published: September 2, 2014

Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

Summary: Lost and broken, Celaena Sardothien’s only thought is to avenge the savage death of her dearest friend: as the King of Adarlan’s Assassin, she is bound to serve this tyrant, but he will pay for what he did. Any hope Celaena has of destroying the king lies in answers to be found in Wendlyn. Sacrificing his future, Chaol, the Captain of the King’s Guard, has sent Celaena there to protect her, but her darkest demons lay in that same place. If she can overcome them, she will be Adarlan’s biggest threat – and his own toughest enemy.

While Celaena learns of her true destiny, and the eyes of Erilea are on Wendlyn, a brutal and beastly force is preparing to take to the skies. Will Celaena find the strength not only to win her own battles, but to fight a war that could pit her loyalties to her own people against those she has grown to love?

My Review: This book is everything. I’m already in love with this series and if you can fall in something more than love, I’ve definitely done it because of this book.

gift from gods

First of all, Ms. Maas, are you trying to kill me? Just wondering since you brought in not one, but two of the hottest guy characters I’ve read in a while.

I have a thing for putting faces to characters, so lets do that again, shall we? We shall.

Rowan “sex god” Whitehorn.

Aedion Ashryver

Not gonna lie, every time there was a chapter that was all about the witches I was so bored and I basically just skimmed it. I needed me some Aedion and Rowan.

I loved Dorian and Celaena together so much, then I liked her with Chaol, now I’m obsessed with her and Rowan. But I swear, if this woman has incredible chemistry with Aedion like she has with literally every other guy in this book, I’m going to go insane. I ship her with everyone, ever.

This is a terrible review. I’m just freaking out about the two hottest guys in the world. Other than them, even though they are the most important to me right now, this book itself was freaking amazing. I could not put this thing down for days.

I don’t want to wait a single day for the next book. I guess I’ll have to settle with the short story book until then. I’m pretty sure I’ll start shipping her with whoever Sam is, too. Great. That’s just another thing to break my heart… But I’m going to do it anyways because this is the life of a fangirl.
