My Review: Two words: Holy shit.

I finished this in three hours. I bought it at 10am. I read it until 1pm. I sat in my bed trying process everything until 5pm. Then I ate dinner and I finally realized that this series is over at 6pm. Like there won’t be another one. Ever. So until midnight, when I finally fell asleep, I mourned and now I have a book hang over. And that’s my day summed up. Yup. Oh, I also read Isla and the Happily Ever After thinking that would help the mourning period and kill the hangover quickly. I was wrong, so so wrong. So book hangover squared.

For me, the third or final books of a series/trilogy are the worst. I think it’s because Mockingjay ruined third books for me. I feel like people are going to smite me for saying that, I’m still waiting for it, but hey, it’s just my opinion. But this book. This. Damn. Book. This has to be the “best ending to a series” book I’ve ever read. I can’t even explain how good this is without spoilers, so the next section will be the spoiler section.

Spoils ahead. Enter if you dare. *Insert evil laugh*

I’m not really going to post a whole lot of spoilers, I just wanted the evil laugh. But there really will be a few as of now.

I just don’t understand how, y’know, Mara convinced Noah to kill her. And then Noah died. And then Mara was alive and wished Noah alive so boom, the boy was alive again. What. But I didn’t question it because this whole book had me like ‘whoa, wait, what?’ and I was just distracted and in love with the fact that Noah and Mara were together again.

AND HE WROTE MARA SHAW ON STUFF AND IT WAS SO CUTE. Literally it’s so lame I was focused on that for a good ten minutes, but I was. Because I love them that much.

End of my very sort spoiler section that was only one spoiler but still counts I think.

I have homework I really need to get to, but I wanted to post this before I started on it. I want everyone in the world to know that this is an amazing book and they need to go read it. Like now.

This book really is amazing. I don’t reread books or series that much, I’ve only reread a few, but I’m definitely going to be rereading this series. If you like books that are a total mind fuck, then yes, this one is for you. I 110% recommend this to you if you like that sort of thing. I do and I don’t regret ignoring my homework and responsibilities so that I could read this in a day. And I know for sure I’ll be doing it again.

I hope everyone has a fantabulous day/evening/morning/whenever you’re reading this and happy reading!

Rating: 5 pumpkin cats. If I had a 100, it would be that. But alas, I do not so it’ll have to be 5.
