She can’t.

They aren’t.

She couldn’t imagine that after everything she’s been through, the boy she loves would still be keeping secrets.

She’s wrong.

My Review: I just finished this book so right now I’ve got all the feels going on. I love love love this series so much and I cannot wait until the third comes out. It comes out November 4th!

Anyways. This review is going to have spoilers. I know, I know, I have failed you all. I really did set out to make this a spoiler free blog, but I have so many feels that right now I just need to get them all out. So what I’ve decided to do is to have the first part be a vague review, just how I liked the writing, characters, all that good stuff. I’m going to put up some sort of picture or something after that that will let everyone know that it’s the spoiler section. So good? Good.

Okay, this is the non-spoiler section.

This is honestly the best sequel I’ve ever read. I think I like it better than the first book, actually. When I went on goodreads a lot of other people said the same. I finished it in a day and a half. I had homework, but if I didn’t, this shit would’ve been read in a few hours. It was that good.

Lets just start with Noah, shall we? We shall. That boy is beautiful. He needs to get over his daddy issues and open up to Mara finally, but I’ll over look that. I kid, I kid.. Not really, but okay. I just love how protective, sweet, and kind he is when it comes to Mara. It’s like he’s a different person around her and it’s my favorite thing in the world and it makes me so happy. I just have so many feels right now.

brb singing about my feelings

And honestly, this is one of the most interesting, plot twisty book I’ve ever read. If you haven’t read the first book, or you don’t think you’d like the second, sometimes a sequel just ruins it for me honestly, you need to read this. You need to.

Alright, if you haven’t read the book yet, don’t read this, go read the book, then come back and we can talk about it! I need people to fangirl with me. Like right now.

SPOILER SECTION (It’s not a really big section, so you’re good if you just scroll down really fast if you looking at my rating)

This. freaking. book.

I can’t even explain to you how amazing this book is to me. I almost never reread books, anna and the french kiss and beastly are the only ones I would, but I have to add this to my list. It was that good of a book.

There were so many adorable quotes in this book, it just hurts my heart. But in a good way.

“If we were to live a thousand years, I would belong to you for all of them. If we were to live a thousand lives, I would want to make you mine in each one.”

Moving on to the actual plot. Can you freaking believe that Dr. Kells was the bitch behind all this shit? Because I can’t. It took me a second to process this fact. That was probably one of the biggest plot twists in any book I’ve read thus far. Good for you Michelle Hodkin, good for you.

The next, like I said, comes out November 4th. I NEED IT NOW.

I need it
